Compared to Black Fridays past, today really wasn't too bad at the bookstore.

I still haven't gotten over the novelty of not working on Black Friday. It's glorious! Even though I no longer labor as a retail slave, I can't work up the energy to participate in the after-Thanksgiving shopping extravaganza. Lucky for me, my family feels the same way, so today instead of going to the mall we went to see a movie.

As people around the country gleefully head towards the shopping malls, I hunker down in my home and prepare for an onslaught of  reading and paper-writing.  Oh, for some people Black Friday is a brilliant day for shopping and spending scads of money in anticipation of Christmas, but for me it's just another chance to plug away at Mt.
